Overview:
The most friendly YouTube Downloader ever.

YouTube Downloader is a plugin for YouTube application on your Android device. Unlike competitors it doesn't change the way you use YouTube but integrates natively into the YouTube app from Google adding a button to download videos. You will view the downloaded videos with your favourite gallery application (Gallery, QuickPic etc.) in a way you like it. Videos are saved in MP4 format which is native to any Android phone.

Please note that this is not an app, it's a YouTube plugin. It doesn't have application icon or visible window, it's only visible from YouTube "share" menu.

1. Open NATIVE YouTube app from Google.
2. Do you usual stuff. Whenever you want to download a video press "share" button.
3. Choose "Download" button with "YouTube Downloader" icon (see screenshot). Should there be more than one MP4 format available (1080p, 720p etc) YouTube Downloader will ask you to choose one. Please note that high resolution videos (1080p, 720p) requires a powerful smartphone (or a tablet) so think carefully. Video will start downloading in the background and you should see the progress in the notification bar.
4. Continue using YouTube.
5. To open the downloaded video click the name in the notification bar or open your favourite gallery app (Gallery, QuickPic etc.) to see the new folder "YouTube Downloader" with all the downloaded videos.
6. Watch them offline!

ADVANCED USERS: save location is "/mnt/sdcard/Movies/YouTube Downloader"

WARNING!!! Downloading lots of huge videos will eventually make your phone run out of storage. Whenever that happens delete some downloaded videos or upgrade to higher capacity storage card (sd card).

What's in this version:
1. some phones disable WiFi networks when the phone is locked, YouTube Downloader now holds WiFi adapter in ON state until all the videos are downloaded, then allows the phone to turn WiFi OFF
2. optimized memory usage when downloading multiple files simultaneously
3. failed downloads are properly reported and leftovers are deleted from the disk
