According to a source close to Wang Peng Fei, 24, who posted a video online mocking Singaporeans, the Chinese national was on the first flight back to China yesterday. A police report was also lodged against him. For posting a video which mocked Singaporeans and included racist remarks, Wang had also been expelled from the East Asia Institute of Management (EASB) where he was a final-year student studying hospitality. His student visa was also revoked, and he forfeited $10,000 in course fees. The source told The New Paper that Wang was "afraid of getting into legal trouble here. In fact, he was in a hurry to pack up his things on Monday night". In the news report (Jul 27), Alex Tan Zhixiang, 24, who is a member of the Reform Party, made a police report on Sunday as Wang had "made racist remarks" against a minority group. The police confirmed a report was lodged and are looking into the matter.


The legal actions have been taken against the Wang Peng Fei, his student visa is also cancelled. Last year three students were also arrested on putting hurting comments against the indians over the facebook. Wang Peng Fei will kept under trail for such illegal acts. Police officials are investigation about the real facts behind the attack the reason of self made racist video. Wang Peng Fei facing more trouble on the act which he done as well as hurting the feelings of Singaporeans. "The more measured response should be to find out why the young man did what he did and give him counselling and let him get on with his life as a student," he added. The sociology lecturer also said: "The over-the-top reaction against his antics reflects the current anti-immigrant atmosphere in Singapore - [Wang] provides the opportunity for these sentiments to be vented."
